I love Canada..."The True North Strong & Free"..!! From a fellow 'North American' south of your border... formerly part of Canada, now called Michigan. Please Be a 'Strong World Leader' and "Never Give Up, Never Surrender"...!!

More info than history class throughout 4 years of school, in a fraction of the time; and in a format thats easier to digest

This channel is amazing! I just discovered this channel two days ago. I have watched at least a dozen videos already. This channel is a must if you are a lover of history.

As a born Canadian who was brought to the US as a young child, thank you for this! Some I remember learning in school in Canada, much I had either forgotten or never known.

I am not Canadian but lived there a good chunk of my life (im from Chile originally and returned some 10 years ago) and know and understand the place as good as anyone (one of my degrees is a History Major from UofC). It&apos;s one of the best summaries Ive seen on you tube. I especially liked the fact that you mentioned that some are of the opinion Canada should be a post national state, thats rubbish. That leaves a country without a soul. <br>A little more on the 1837 rebellion would&apos;ve made it complete, as well as a mention of BC as it&apos;s the history of a completely separate colony on the west coast. As a founding nation the final act would probably be the creation of Manitoba and then the execution of Louis Riel...to bring the prairies into the fold. Having said that..what an excellent video!
