8:32 Honestly I started doing that as I am right now and I agree, I use to not do that but now I do especially since the headphones hurt my ears while on my side. It all depends on how the video is recorded, if it’s ear to ear most of the time I prefer headphones but even without headphones it’s good. If it’s lofi I especially like without headphones, sometimes it feels more true and real again depending on how it’s recorded. Like I love the Cardi b asmr from w mag, it’s lofi but great quality with good mics, it’s perfect. But it’s so good without headphones and with.

Oh you are so brave for trying something new! Good for you! I bought a mix to try asmr ten years ago and I still am too scared lol
You have a good sense for asmr, which probably comes from having watched it for so long. Not too fast, not too loud, nice whispering voice. I did like the jellyfish sounds, I think my only critique would be I'd love to have heard more sounds of your props. I didn't find your whispering to be overly harsh into the mix (like the air, breath and soft sounds like p and b make harsh mix noise) you had really good breath control and coordination of moving the mix away to breath

Your accent sounds like my home, but I'm not american. I'd guess north east like Maine? I don't know many states lol
Do people actually make fun of flavoring water??? What? I love adding flavor to my water. Like I'll drink it plain but flavor is fun
I don't normally stick around for whisper rambles, but it had such cozy vibes like a friendly hang out. Kind of just typed a lot as I listened
Congratulations for making your first asmr! I hope you had fun making it, I hope you'll have fun making more too!
(Also the cable for your mic is usb-a to usb-c if you ever needed another)
