Some people say that history is the past and discount or are not that interested but without this history we would not be where we are today. Looking at how things are developed can give impetuous to future inventors, builders, theorists and the everyday people to look at this world in a different way. Love the show for its presenters, people, crew and items they bring to be assessed. 😁🇦🇺👍🏻

Hello from New Zealand. I'm addicted to Antiques Road Show. My son's delight in a box way back about 20 years ago thrilled me. It had many cleverly hidden compartments that unlocked each other, & he was only about 4 years old. He's been keen on 'old stuff' ever since, & collects well-made pieces now. How lovely is that? I'd call it a legacy, & adding Fiona Bruce's dulcet tones to the presentation of these treasures is pure genius

 23:46
From Melbourne, Australia…..When I heard Fiona say, “our last program” I almost stopped breathing!!!!! I thought she meant THE LAST SHOW EVER! Oh what a travesty that would be! But when we got to the end of the video I was pleasantly relieved! Whewww!!
I just adore the show! I think it was the first show I ever saw on our brand new colour TV all those years ago. I never tire of it and all the wonders of the world which appear on your tables! My husband favourite segment (which I showed him again today as it happens,) is the Rastafarian chap with his sack full of 16th century silver pieces! I have so many I cannot pick any above any other! But I did especially enjoy seeing the little archeologist girl who said ,”Santa doesn’t bring fossils for gifts!” So obvious ! Just absolutely delightful, every single show I’ve ever watched! I especially love the ones that have an item that I have known that I have seen, “in the flesh”. JUST DON’T EVER STOP MAKING THE SHOW! I know countless millions will feel the same way I do ! Now, promise me! Yvonne Pagan, your humble and loyal audience !

This is great, I watched a lot of public television as a kid, and this show had a definite effect on me and my interest in old and beautiful hand made objects, antiques are an endless source of the human story in many ways, I hope that the girl who collected fossils got her mammoth skull eventually, I should imagine she is an expert in her field by now and has a wonderful collection.
