I’m running three Elite FS10 units, a Elite FS12, and an AT2 system ran through my NEP2 hub and NMEA2000. This video helped a bunch, when I pull my boat out this weekend maybe I can finally get data besides just waypoints to share between my units. Fingers crossed but if I don’t I’ll probably have some questions.

If I'm running NMEA do I need the NEP if I only want to add 1additional unit for a total of 3 units, with Active Target 2. Can I just add on to my NMEA with another backbone?

New to understanding NMEA networks. My boat has 2 Lowrance HDS12s connected via NMEA along with Sonic hub and Point 1.

My GPS signal is constantly going in and out throught the day. If I switch the GPS source to point 1 on the bow graph, I have GPS signal. I went to diagnostics and the Bus keeps switching from On to Off. This happend occasionally last year, but almost non stop this year. Also, the sonic hub is sometimes available, and sometimes not. Thus also leading me to believe its NMEA related.

Where should I start to look to fix this problem? I appreciate the help.

Should the ethernet connection share Point 1 data between units?

I have a Point 1 connected to the console unit. It works properly. I have ethernet to two Elite FSs at the bow. They seem to be able to "see" the Point 1 in data sources, but always show (Invalid), and heading on the charts is definitely not using the Point 1. The ethernet connection works great for sharing waypoints and sonar.

Hello Gary, I am trying to help a friend who has 3 HDS Pro 12 on his Ranger. Somehow in this network settings he has named his left side unit 4 times “Left Console Unit”. How does he delete the 3 names he does not need.

I am using an HDS 10 Pro connected via NMEA 2000 to a Lowrance Recon. On my previous setup (HDS 9 Gen3 + MotorGuide), I frequently experienced control lockouts when mirroring to a tablet. After a period of navigation, an error would pop up, forcing me to leave the deck and return to the main unit in the cabin to regain control.

Does the HDS Pro allow uninterrupted control of the Recon via tablet, or do these lockouts still occur on the newer platform?

I'm will be using a HDS Pro 12 and HDS Pro 10 at bow of boat. I have Active Target 2 connected to the HDS 12 and the 3-1 Active Image nose cone on Ghost trolling. I am adding (2) HDS Pro 10 at the console. One will be connect to In-hull transducer and other is connected to S3100 mudule that is connected to 3-1 high and wide active image transducer with Fish Revel. Do I need the NEP 2 hub or can I connect all units together?
