First place i ever stayed in tokyo was shin okubo. Absolute crap place we stayed but the area seemed awesome! We didnt explore much, but we're travelling to tokyo again this weekend and i plan to go explore it more.

DUDE, like 1 block to the right of where you started the video (just down from the JR station) is a phenomenal little Korean street food store that is essential for a visit. Don’t even know the name, but it’s a cup of cheesey gochujang chicken and rice sticks. SO dang good. Also a mint little coffee bar tucked down a quiet alley right down from that street stall. So good!

sooo.... I was there in Sep 24 and it was WAY too full of tourists and also japanese people. It was very crowded and you couldnt move on the narrow pathwalks
