  The crowd being so split made this match even more memorable. No heel, no babyface, just massive respect to two legends.

  - 2 men in their 40s (Taker;44. Shawn;43.) putting on an instant classic <br>- 2 all time greats.<br>- 2 Hall of Famers<br>- 2 of some of the greatest names who dominated WWE in the 90s and early 2000s.<br>- 2 names synonymous with WrestleMania <br>- 2 of some of Texas greatest wrestlers going at it in their own home state.<br>- 2 men who competed in the first Hell in a Cell match. &nbsp;<br>- 2 men who ended the 2007 Royal Rumble and started the 2008 Royal Rumble <br>- their first 1 on 1 match in 11 years and 7 years after Shawn came out of retirement &nbsp;<br>- both their 17th WM match<br>- The drama<br>- the awesome entrances<br>- the chemistry in and out of the ring<br>- those insane false finishes<br>- the commentary<br>- JR&apos;s out of body experience <br>- the crowd<br>- no use of weapons, stairs, barricades, or even announce tables. just 2 men and the referee <br>- Undertaker still fighting after that terrifying dive into the cameraman (Sim Snuka/Deuce) <br>- the first match with &quot;This is Awesome&quot; chants.<br>- &nbsp;Imo The closest anyone came to ending the streak before 2014<br>- no championship needed<br>- 30 minutes of absolute perfection that was this match<br>- 1 downside: I was not there in person to witness this classic. <br>- 25th anniversary of WrestleMania <br>- A match we will all see someday in the WWE Hall of Fame <br>- The Phenom vs The Showstopper<br>- Mr. WrestleMania vs WrestleMania&apos;s Phenom<br>- Light vs Dark<br>- good vs evil <br>- Heaven vs Hell <br><br>Not only the greatest match in WrestleMania history. Not only the greatest match in WWE history. But, in my personal opinion, the greatest match in professional wrestling history. Debate that all you want but in the words of Jim Ross at the end, as a wrestling fan, &nbsp;how can you ask for anything more? &nbsp;Can&apos;t ask for more than that. Just perfect.

  I think This was pure match because no announcer table, no stairs, no weapons, Even no title was on the line in this match just only two wrestlers and the ring amazing match...

  This is not a classic, THIS IS THE CLASSIC ! <br>Shawn Michaels, descending from heaven, wearing whites. The Undertaker, rising from hell, wearing black. <br><br>The man who has his best matches at WrestleMania vs the man who is known for his streak at WrestleMania. The 2 longest tenured guys in the history of the company. <br><br>Two guys in their 40s. Shawn, with a surgically repaired back and bad knees. The Undertaker, with bad hips and a concussion in the middle of the match. <br>No announcer tables, no stairs, no weapons. Just 2 greats putting on an absolute clinic. This match, right from the entrances to the ending had everything - emotion, psychology, false finsihes, great commentary, the crowd involvement. Everything was perfect. <br><br>Truly, the greatest match of all time.

  This version of Taker was phenomenal, a 40+ year old 300 pounder who have wrestled for over 20 years at that point pulling off dives like that was really amazing.
