  It still blows my mind that this story is having it&apos;s own little resurgence. The original nightmare scared the shit out of me so bad, I knew I had to preserve it; as if to vindicate the normally absurd claim of &quot;I had a 14 hour long nightmare about my video game&quot;. <br><br>I told my mom and showed her what I wrote. Fun fact: she&apos;s into scary movies and history concerning real life serial killers(I promise you, she&apos;s very sweet lol). She was the one who ultimately pushed me to narrate it and make it into a video &apos;cuz she thought &quot;it was so cool&quot;.<br><br>Thanks for covering it, btw. I love that, despite being my scariest ever night terror, this story has meant something to people. :)

  Finding out the story was a retelling of a dream made a lot of the more bizarre details that’d taken me out of the story originally make a lot more sense. A lot of it really is just textbook examples of bizarre dream logic.

  I love the double meaning in the title.<br><br>On one hand, it&apos;s &quot;Alone, Are You?&quot; with the L removed, but it also has a double meaning of Fawful thinking of Logan as special and unique.

  ngl, finding all the mario box art changed to feature mario sobbing is one of the funniest things I&apos;ve ever heard. The idea of picking up Super Mario Sunshine and seeing my man on his knees in delphino plaza weeping as the game&apos;s big promotional image is too funny.

  Hello, I know you said it in the video, but I’m the guy who made that retake/visual adaptation of the story. I’m absolutely amazed by how much people enjoy my video and as well as the original story, I’ve never stopped loving it since 2016, and I’m so glad to have been able to recreate it in someway in 2024. I never expected it to be covered by someone like you, and I’m beyond flattered. Thank you so much, Peter!<br><br>On a somewhat related note, I wanted to mention how I eventually am going to be making an official written version of the retake (which is also commonly known as “Mario: Bowser’s Inside Story”, and will be labeled with that title when published), and I also am going to be making a behind the scenes video of the retake, showing how I actually made certain parts of it and my ideas in general. Just wanted to mention those here since I’m currently not quite done with my content related to the story.<br><br>Again thank you so much for making this video! I had the biggest grin on my face almost the whole time LOL

  I wouldn’t call this the “scariest” Mario creepy pasta but I would definitely call it the “realist” Mario creepy pasta due to it being based on an actual dream the author had and their fears.

  Perhaps him being an only child in his dream is some sick twisted way his mind mirroring its events onto him. Luigi is erased from existence in his dream, so from the start, he doesn&apos;t even have a sibling in the first place.
