I may not get to read all the comments since there's just so many of them, so I'd recommend joining my Basement if you want to talk to me and other cool people :) https://discord.gg/EuFjbBRdV8

Trippy thing about the Utahraptor killing the soldier in Primal War: It's kinda true to living birds of prey that can and do consume their prey while it's still fighting back... 😵‍💫😱💀

I have the Carnosaur novel and I have to say the movie I made up in my head while reading it was truly terrifying. They don't even spare the children in the book like Hollywood does. No one was safe.

One of my worst nightmares was where I was stuck in an old maintenance building and a trex was stalking me. I knew it was out in the forest, I couldn't see it but I knew if I left it'd kill me.

I genuinely can't wait for Terrible Lizards and The Lost Wild to release (both dinosaur horror games). I've been cooking up a script for my own Spinosaurus horror animation and after seeing this video I've definitely got to start it.

The thing I love about dinosaur horror is that it puts humanity in the place of prey.

It’s not a malicious entity, evil spirit, lab monster (not in the way you’re thinking at least), or killer alien. It’s an animal that sees you the way a cat sees a mouse.

It fits a lot into a term coined by the YouTuber “curious archive”, that being ecosystemic horror. The main idea of it being put into an environmental that is inherently hostile simply because we take up a different place in it.

That’s one of the reasons why I loved the new movie “end of oak street” and a book by Micheal Crichton called “micro”. (Micro doesn’t have anything to do with dinosaurs, but fits ecosystemic horror to a t”

The original Jurassic Park kitchen scene is, and always will be, the scariest thing in the film.
