I think the hardest part for Abed to learn is that his father is the one who wanted to keep him and understand him, and his mother bailed because she knew she never would and would never try. That's what the claymation ep is about.

 One thing I always notice with Abed is that Jeff is always the one who knows all the references, except for My Dinner with Andre.

 Abed's friendship with Troy is a key part of the show. But the evolution of his friendship with Jeff is huge. Those two have so many great moments together that you see here, from My Dinner With Andre, to the Bazinga footage cutting scene, their night of drinking, and so many more.

 The most iconic character, and the one who is the most aware of the fourth wall. Cool. Cool, cool, cool.

 Arabic translation;
Abed's dad: I never said I blamed you for her leaving.
Abed: you never had to say it (Or; it wasn't on you to say it).

 Danny Pudi is a comedic genius. Abed was and still is my favorite character.

 I love that apologies montage for two reasons: first, because Jeff has become so close to Abed that he is fully ready to jump into whatever lampshading moment comes up, and second, because Jeff pulls out a TV since Frankie doesn't want one.

 I really like how he doesnt understand the concept of messing with your friend in fifth episode, but in season two he convinces troy to run against the wall
