  Remember when the Wii U bombed, and instead of laying off staff, Iwata cut his pay in half to keep people on board and not be punished for mistakes by upper management? And keeping talent on board laid the groundwork for the Switch to succeed?<br><br>I&apos;m not trying to shill for Nintendo but anytime I hear stories like this I always think about what Iwata did, and how depressingly rare it is for upper management to not throw their employees under the bus.

  Their insane game change demands hasn&apos;t been too well accepted too in gaming, &nbsp; they literally destroyed the Saints Row franchise with their idiotic demands, and Perfect Dark would have met a similar demise too had i been completed.<br><br>The only decent thing they&apos;ve ever done is try to archive every video game ever made in their custom made vault.

  You’re presenting it all a bit too generously. The company was literally a pump and dump scheme organized by the CEO. The acquired game studios did not produce any games since they were bought out. That was not their role, which was to be bait for the Arabian prince. Luckily for him, he did not bite.

  I was someone affected by these, whilst I got another gig these days I have left the industry. Embracer&apos;s failures make a lot more sense when you know that the core management/execs were/are ex-JoWood.

  Blimey, this video is criminally underviewed, especially compared to your others. I have to admit I haven&apos;t heard of Embracer Group, so it might be that other people are also unsure what they do. I reckon you reupload with more descriptive thumbnail, maybe with Lara and some zombies and dinosaurs from the games on there. Not that I&apos;m trying to tell you how to run your channel, of course, I already think it&apos;s brilliant. Anyway, keep it up!

  The mass destruction wrought by Embracer will be an entire chapter by itself in any future book on the history of the games industry. Historic levels of greed and incompetence.
