Fia basically takes a bit of your essence each time you embrace her, since her entire existence as deathbed companion is to collect the embers of life that’s around her so the Lord she lays with can be reborn, It’s the reason why you lose half of your health bar and why you should wear protection when hugging someone.🐱

I took one look at that "hug" option and immediately said "hell no" during my first playthrough. A beautiful woman that I don't know offering to hug me is already suspicious enough, but something like that happening in a FROMSOFTWARE GAME? HUGE red flag.

I understood the lore...after me and my roommate spent a few months reading every item description and bouncing information/ideas/theories off each other. So yes. You can learn lore from the games, ya just need to have Crackhead energy and crackhead friends.

9:42 you say this as a joke, but I'm legitimately in a DnD campaign with two smaller female Vtubers, who both want Blaidd to rail them.

One of them was down bad enough, that she payed the VA on Cameo, to record a video of him calling her a good girl.

To be fair, George R.R. Martin did work on the Lore for Elden Ring, so a game of thrones reference in the form of that sword isn't too strange.

Nux ranting about Elden Ring lore being incomprehensible got me thinking about that meme.

"I don't know, man, I'm comprehending these manmade horrors pretty easily. Maybe it's just a skill issue."

Scion is there to teach you the first, single most important lesson in the game. You are going to die, and you can't always brute force your way through every fight.

I’d say Elden Ring has a pretty comprehensive story compared to other From Soft games. Granted you have to do like every side quest for it.

Its kind of my tradition to violently murder the NPCs before going into NG+
