It's a shame they didn't make a sequel to this masterpiece 😢

The heavy stomps, the heavy splashes, the heavy noises, the heavy pressure, the heavy movement, the heavy giants, and the heavy sacrifices, man everything about this fight is 🔥

I really liked how slow and heavy the movements are like there was an enormous amount of force and mass behind every movement and action. The second film took that away which sapped away a lot of the fun.

The fact that gipsy danger fighting 2 kaijus with a broken leg and 1 arm is actually crazy

I think one of the big reasons the momentum in these movies was so impactful is it lends to the anxiety of scenes. The movement of these mechs and creatures is slow and thought out. Any bad move and you have little time to react. It's something they somewhat did with the anime, which I enjoyed. Hopefully we get a sequel someday!

when my wife and I got married, we saw it first thing in the morning on the imax screen and it was perfect... I'll always remember it as a great film and memory
