Learning new skills for a video is probably one of my favorite part of the process. Learning to card, spin and knit was so interesting and gratifying. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed discovering these traditional crafts! 😃 Thank you for watching.
Timestamps:
00:00 Intro
00:45 Checking and selecting wool
04:00 Carding (kind of brushing sound)
08:18 Spinning
13:20 Final Spinning
16:55 Yarn winding
19:20 Knitting (layered videos & sounds)
21:50 Falling asleep

My parents didn't have much money for warm clothes that would last, so my dad would spin, cart and knit wool clothes for us. Countless times as a child I fell asleep to the soft spinning whisper of his spinning wool by the fire. So relaxing!

I only know about the spinning wheel from Rumpelstiltskin and Sleeping Beauty but never had any idea on how it actually worked so seeing you doing it helped me to learn about it, it's such a sophisticated devices, the craftsmanship for it alone is outstanding. Thank you so much for making such an educative and relaxing video depicting of a bygone era like this, it's pretty much hypnotising to look at and I love it.

my grandmother has a spinning wheel… I was so enchanted by it as a kid, and how she would explain the different materials and card wool. I always used to prick my finger on it and pretend to be sleeping beauty. Thank you 🖤

"Before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday, she will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel, and fall into a sleep like death! A sleep from which she will never awaken!" This was the first thing in my mind when i first saw this video! Great job as always!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I don't think I've ever seen an ASMR video that ends with the person falling asleep. You keep raising the bar!!

I went to a wool museum years ago and remember doing the Carding for an hour whilst my family went around the museum
