  This is what separates Friends from other lower sitcoms: these characters felt real. Their situations, dilemmas, and issues felt real. They really felt like friends who looked out for each other and not just comedic foils for one other for jokes. Jokes obviously happened but you could see how much they really cared about each other and wanted each other happy

  I loved Rachel and Monica comforting Phoebe after she was sad about having to give up the triplets, and reminding her that she could be &quot;Cool Aunt Phoebe&quot;, without the hassle of having to raise them. Heartfelt moments between the girls were so rare later on.

  I love how it went from Joey and Ross helping out Phoebe’s brother (forgot the name) to vice versa. Love how much the turntables in this show!
