Germany is where it's at right now, Sinn, Nomos, Damasko, hanhart, all doing cool stuff and great value even some with heritage. I think Nomos is kinda leading the pack

Regarding the long lugs: they used to be even longer. I think they changed it maybe last year from 47+ mm to 44mm on the 36mm case. To me, this was a huge improvement.

They do offer open casebacks for a little extra ;) probably my next purchase. I’ve been looking at them for a while now.

The Club with the sapphire case back was my first luxury watch around 4 years ago. Still as beautiful today.<br>Since then I've mostly bought German, from Sinn Damasko, Glashutte, Junghans.

I have the worldtimer with the Blue dial. I wasn't sure about it when I bought but after two years of ownership, i can confirm it gets the most wrist time. Its comfortable to wear, the dial is sublime, the movement is nicely finished at this price point and the worldtimer function is so useful when traveling abroad. Not to mention to satisfying clunk when you are selecting the different time zones. I haven't yet dealt with Nomos directly, but I hope the process will be German smooth when the time comes to service.

This watch in the turquoise dial with open case back really surprised me. Loved it on the wrist

The club is wonderful. Simple, elegant, but with real personality. And the value definitely shames what the Swatch Group and others churn out for the same price.

Great video. The club is just a gem. In pictures its so simple, but in person (especially with the sapphire caseback), it has such heft in a small footprint so it feels like a smooth perfect pebble.

I bought my Tangente Date (Peseux 7001) in 2002. Two services needed in these years. I love this watch.🥰

The new lug to lug also fixes the issue of the long lugs
