Cream, Rush, and ZZ Top proved you never needed five guys on stage to make a massive sound. Three musicians, zero wasted space, and some of the greatest rock ever recorded.

I grew up 20 miles east of Flint. I saw Grand Funk before they were Grand Funk (Terry and the Pack). These guys rocked big time. I also loved Triumph, Rik Emmet is a living guitar god

I'm 71 and I was there for all of this and you have done quite an excellent job putting this together and the research is very thorough and accurate. I really enjoyed this! Thanks!

There’s something special about a great power trio—just three musicians creating that much sound is incredible. Hendrix, Cream, ZZ Top… so many legendary bands. This is going to be a fun trip through rock history! 🤘🎸

Rush is touring again with a German lady on the kit, Anika Nilles. She is nailing it.

You forgot about Buddy Hooly and The Crickets, drums, standup bass and electric guitar! Big band sound with just 3 instruments.
