Genie yelling, "I'm free! I'm free!" hits so much different after Robin Williams's death.

Keep in mind: Jasmine is just 15, Aladdin is at least 17, & Jaffar is a grown adult, yet a key part of the movie's plot is about Jasmine getting married.

For a man who wasn't a singer, Robin Williams had pipes. He'll always be the best Genie.
I love the way he sang "Friend Like Me" and "Prince Ali"

Cool fun fact: every time Aladdin lies as Prince Ali his feather drops to his face. Y’all gotta check out the Two sequels!!! It dives deeper into the lore of genies and Aladdin’s story and his relationship with Jasmine. I really think y’all would enjoy them.

Keep in mind, the chances of death were high and life expectancy low for a time period. That was the whole reason why you’ll find History filled with underage marriages and tons of children dying of diseases. They could not afford NOT to marry and make kids as soon as they were biologically capable of it or risk dying before they have any. As mankind progressed in medicine, the expected age for marriage got better.

 27:05
My 3 wishes:
My first wish would probably be like Jafar’s. Being capable of a lot of magic.
My second wish would be to extend my life span, but not for immortality. I’m thinking just an extra century or 3, with my body’s aging process also slowed down.
My third wish, and likely my most chaotic one, would be that my previous two wishes are genetic, following down my family bloodline.

Jasmine and Mulan have the best animal sidekicks- a tiger and a dragon.
8:42 fun and creepy fact Snow White, in the Disney version, is around 12-14 years old.
