  Only an absolutist and either/or thinker (a rigid thinker) would want a belief to be &quot;doubt proof.&quot; &nbsp;Flexible thinkers understand that doubt is a cognitive tool for inferring better explanations and understandings. &nbsp;Reflections in general require some level of doubt. &nbsp;The methods of modern science rely on it.

  If God has perfect omnipresence, that would mean he will be present to you whenever you need him. &nbsp;Physically there like everyone else, except he will be there wherever you are and whenever you need him. That has not been my experience and I know I exist because I think. &nbsp;So, if he does not have perfect omnipresence, it proves he does not exist.

  I am fully on board with a perfect triangle, as an idea. If it is not perfect, it is not a perfect triangle. And I can also accept, for the sake of argument, the idea of God as a supremely perfect being. But how do we get from God being perfect to existence itself being a perfection? A triangle having three sides, that is what makes it a triangle, anbd perfect, but how do we establish that <s>existing</s> existence is likewise part of what makes a supremely perfect being perfect? It feels like something is being smuggled in here. Did we not specifically separate essence from existence earlier in the argument?

  The religious God cannot exist as described. Religion defines God as both perfect and the creator of everything. Yet creation itself is bias, because creating means choosing creation over non-creation. Absolute perfection cannot contain bias. Therefore, a creator may exist or a perfect being may exist, but the religious God who is claimed to be both cannot.

  Descartes supports what the Bible clearly states. The second coming will not happen until the entire world has heard about Jesus.

  Professor, <br>You are modest in the way of not having your name in the description, however, you have spoken on a number of topics that interest me. &nbsp;Only one small request; please write clearer or just bigger on the chalk board. &nbsp;<br><br>On the topic of GOD I have one idea that is only heard in the rooms of AA. &nbsp;Good Orderly Direction. &nbsp;<br>I am going to introduce a new way of thinking on the God Idea.<br>It is my argument that to a certain degree we can agree on what is good. &nbsp;Oh yeah sometimes it&apos;s like pornography, ya know it when you see it, but what is good in Islam is not the same good as in Western Culture. &nbsp;Both Allah and God are good but not the same way each would perceive. <br>It&apos;s up to us to decide what is good for ourselves, our family, our community and so on. &nbsp;<br>What is good spiritually, again differes to many degrees but we do agree on life inspiring things that mean more than just getting our way in a certain situation; like calling God&apos;s 911 switchboard and getting favorable results. &nbsp;<br>Back to Good, it&apos;s a starting point and now that I think of it, the top of the Pyramid or Triangle. &nbsp;Why do we love shapes? &nbsp;Anyway, next is Orderly. &nbsp;The opposite of chaos. &nbsp;We like order and we express it to our children as how the order should be. &nbsp;Woulda-Coulda-Shoulda can never change a Did. That is the order in which we are in denial of. &nbsp;But what we see that we deem good is in order amongst the chaos. &nbsp;It is safety but dangerous in its enormity.<br>We can agree on most things that are Orderly as a society. &nbsp;Laws are the guardrails that are tested daily for their endurance or failure. &nbsp;Human Rights&apos; come to mind with justice---the response make things right. &nbsp;By Who? &nbsp;Hopefully good people!<br><br>Then there&apos;s Direction! What is the path you are on? Forward or upward gaze, phenomenon as Dr Peterson defines. &nbsp;You see, Webster defines it as an unexplained event. That&apos;s a typical secular and Atheist response. They do not offer any expression close to what is an experience that only some know the true meaning. &nbsp;Where are you going? I&apos;m a going a dis way and you go dat, it doesn&apos;t matter cause we are on the same highway. &nbsp;God&apos;s Will---Direction.<br><br>So just briefly I&apos;ve laid out three words that many of us agree on as a path to a better self and society. &nbsp;I can say it in one word &quot;God&quot; or think it &quot;Good Orderly Direction&quot;. &nbsp; Life is a journey and time moving forward is all we have to make it better. &nbsp;It&apos;s the road I want to stay on. &nbsp;The way, the light, Nirvana? &nbsp;<br><br>I sat for years in an AA meeting room with a bunch of alcoholics talking about God as if he was a MAN or Woman or both but he was a real entity that they had conversations with. &nbsp;I&apos;m not criticizing how the human being repairs itself after the trauma of addiction, however, I was an atheist coming in. &nbsp;I had to find my way in some place other than Hell. &nbsp;<br>I said the prayers and held hands while reciting the Lords Prayer for unity. &nbsp;I transposed my meaning over their word. &nbsp;To Prey meant to hope, and who doesn&apos;t Hope? <br>I liked the Good Orderly Direction better than a Group of Drunks. &nbsp;Good was what I wanted, order was the landscape and direction was the Aim. &nbsp;When I miss the mark I get together with a bunch of other people and we discuss the direction we are on, trying to keep it good and orderly.<br>As Scotty d.   God has all possible perfections, so God is both perfectly benevolent AND perfectly evil. &nbsp;But that goes against the essence of God, therefore God cannot exist.
