  I was 62 when I converted to Catholicism from evangelical Anglicanism and my friends said I'd be back in 6 months. It's been nearly 5 years, I'm now 67. I love my friends from the Anglican church and I still see them. I was a bit afraid they might shun me but they never did. God has blessed me with good Anglican friends and good Catholic friends.

  Thanks for this interview!  Even as Catholics we need to hear Catholic converts great conversion stories.  They help us to want to become better Catholics. God bless both of you.  🙏🏼✝️

  Even though I was raised Catholic from birth,  Baptism through Confirmation, I Love listening to the testimonies of former Protestants who became Catholic. Seeing someone discover and embrace the faith with fresh conviction is encouraging and deepens my own appreciation of the One True Faith established by Our Lord Jesus Christ.

  I share a similar Evangelical background with Dave, having gone to MBI and Trinity. As a pastor/teacher, I had nagging questions to important questions and pursued answers doggedly.<br><br>Somewhere along the line I decided that the earliest followers of Christ would have more clarity.<br>Some knew apostles. &nbsp;Surely these men knew the faith they would die for.<br>Catholics find it comical that I was shocked to discover “These guys are Catholics!” There was no turning back after that.<br>Oh, I tried to ignore them. I was anti-Catholic! But I was sincere and eventually integrity won out.<br>It costed me some dear friendships.<br>My mother cried.<br>But I have never looked back.<br>Thank the Lord for his great mercies!

  Before reading Scott Hahn&apos;s book, I read the story about David Currie that help me strengthen my Catholic faith. Gbu all.

  I was immediately struck by the size of this man! He makes your chair look miniature! I love that his heart is just as big! Gentle Giant.

  I&apos;m crying with ypu sir. Wow, I felt the same at 64 years. Fell in love with the Eucharist as Jesus truly ❤️ now Catholic. &nbsp;The church is like walking into a building that just keeps getting bigger and bigger and more beautiful on the inside.
