  The OpenGOAL project for the Jak and Daxter games also has that &quot;official&quot; feel that Sonic Unleashed has with all of it&apos;s settings being integrated into the menus and is by far the definitive way to play those games.

  Just got everything in Majora&apos;s Mask recompiled the other day so this is a topical return. Between this and Sonic Unleashed, this is the coolest thing in gaming right now for me.

  To remind you how big of the deal Unleashed Recomp is; 7th Gen consoles (besides the Wii) is pretty much unplayable unless you have a very good PC. So a straight native port is pretty much needed since it doesn&apos;t rely on emulation quirks to function the game &quot;as it was intended&quot; in consoles, saving a lot of extensive processing for emulating it as well as added enhancement that wasn&apos;t possible outside of emulation.<br><br>To show you what I mean, Unleashed Recomp required at minimum NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 to run, while Xenia recommended at least NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti or above to run well.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIACT53Njj4&amp;t=515">8:35</a> The ROM hack &quot;Super Mario World: 30th Anniversary Edition&quot; actually adds some (if not all) of the features from the GBA version to the SNES one (which means no screen crunch). You should probably check it out.

  If there was another N64 game that needs a recomp or decomp, it’s the original Paper Mario.

  The perfect dark PC decomp is my favourite of the 64 decomps due to it integrating the settings into the actual game menus in a pretty seamless way.

  I’m a massive fan of PC recomps and decomps since it gives new life to a classic, there’s Aton I want to check out especially sonic unleasheds PC Recomp.
