  Tokyo Ghost has been one of my favorite graphic novel series since it released back in 2016, yet almost nobody I talk to has ever heard of it. The artwork is absolutely stunning, and the story feels even more relevant today than when it first came out. It’s this wild, beautiful mix of cyberpunk chaos, addiction, technology, and humanity that’s stuck with me for years.<br><br>Radiant Black was one of those TPBs I picked up completely on a whim. I grabbed the first four volumes expecting a fun read and ended up getting totally pulled into the story. It has that perfect balance of big superhero energy, grounded characters, and just enough mystery to keep you tearing through pages late into the night.

  Butter Root is undeniably my favorite non big 2 book I’ve read this year. The art is absolutely astonishing. And the alternate history has just been an adventure. I cant wait for the next volume to finish up. Also Something is Killing the Children was a great read as well

  My favorite indie comic I read this year was Precious Metal the trade came out earlier in the year and there is truly nothing quite like it!! My second favorite indie comic is probably Helen Of Wyndhorn

  Words cannot describe how pissed ive been about not being able to find a complete edition of Tokyo Ghost for a reasonable price. But i settled for the trades

  Just started reading comics early this year but so far East of West is my favorite indie comic. Hickman is the perfect writer for this story because of the intricate world building and use of complex ideas and dynamics. Dragotta perfectly captures the characters and scenes not only in a way that is visually stunning but also really adds to the weight of the story.
