  When I was in my 20s, I had purchased some jewelry at Tiffany's in New York for my Mom's birthday.  We stopped for lunch in the area of Rockefeller Center.  I had laid it next to me on the floor and we forgot it and left.  When I finally remembered I had left it there, we walked back thinking there is no way it could still be.  It was gone from the floor, but someone had given it to the people that worked in the restaurant and they had held it for me until I came back.  How amazing is that?

  It is the New Amsterdam Theater not to model Europe but because New York City was named New Amsterdam, when it was a Dutch possession.

  I’m a lifelong resident of NYC. It is never boring, but (except for Sunday mornings) it can be a bit much.  From museums to restaurants to neighborhoods to people, there is diversity everywhere. I love these videos, they make even the familiar things feel new.
