  I had a friend of mine that had one of these saws, I bought his wood splitter after the doctors told him he shouldn’t be cutting wood at 86. He told &nbsp;me that he couldn’t start it so he threw it in with the wood splitter. Turned out the filter needed cleaned an a new plug turned it in to a very strong saw. Champion job of fixing a problem, thanks for the video!

  Updated update: &nbsp;I replaced the carburetor gaskets &amp; diaphragms on my Stihl 031 today, basically mirroring the process that Bre did in this video, but it took me a lot longer because of multiple SNAFU&apos;s. &nbsp;The 031 runs great again. &nbsp;Oh, the carb is a Walbro, which I just happened to have a kit for in my parts drawer.<br><br>I even checked the compression (130 psi), but my borescope does not articulate to see the sides of the cylinder, but with the way it holds compression and runs with the new carb kit installed, the piston &amp; cylinder are just fine. &nbsp;I tested it on the same wood I cut yesterday, but with a lot of knots. &nbsp;The saw cut right through with minimal bogging when hitting multiple knots.<br><br>Bre saved me bunches of time (except for my SNAFU&apos;s, money &amp; frustration (except for my SNAFU&apos;s)!
