We went to 'Camp Sacramento' all my formative yrs.!<br>My gp.s owned a restaurant @ Bijou & belongs to ski club for yrs......AWESOME!

My family went to Camp Sac for 10 years in the late 90s, early 2000s and they always pointed out, on the hike up to Lover's Leap, where this ski area was, and talked about Spider Sabich, the famous ski racer from Kyburz who started out there.. Well, I;m going again, by myself this time, to a special session for seniors. So many memories~ might need a box of Kleenex!

1956? I didn't ski but I liked a girl from South Tahoe who was a part of the green hornets? ski team and they practiced at Edelweiss. I would ride up with her on the lift and she would ski down and wait for me to come back down on the chair - round trip for me- wonderful memories
