Tielman Brothers is the band who inspires The Beatles. No joke. That's a fact.

FYI: Eddie Van Halen is half-Indonesian. His mother, Eugenia van Beers, was an Indonesian woman born in Rangkasbitung on the island of Java, then part of the Dutch East Indies. Eddie and his brother Alex were considered "Indo" (mixed Dutch and Indonesian descent) and moved from Indonesia to the Netherlands before later emigrating to the U.S.

This is an impressive effort by the Waleska Hererra team—they managed to compile Indonesian rock music data in such a detailed and comprehensive way. The only major rock groups that seem to have been overlooked are SWAMI and KANTATA TAKWA, both led by Iwan Fals. They are legendary Indonesian supergroups known for their rock genre, particularly a blend of hard rock, progressive rock, glam metal, and pop rock. Their concerts were among the largest, drawing crowds of around 150,000 to 200,000 people. Iwan Fals himself even once set a record for one of the biggest concert audiences, with approximately 350,000 attendees at the “Suara Untuk Negeri” event.

The world&apos;s oldest rock band is The Tielman Brothers, consisting of members of the Tielman family from East Nusa Tenggara: Andy Tielman, Loulou Tielman, Reggy Tielman, Ponthon Tielman, and Jane Tielman.<br><br>The band was founded in Surabaya, East Java, around 1945 before moving to the Netherlands and beginning to perform on various European stages.

Indonesian are very WELL KNOWN for their super progressive and rich modern musical Industries in the whole of South east Asia. This statement coming from me their own neighbor a Malaysian, we might banter and disagree on any thing else but for music industries Indonesia is always on top. Even us Malaysian has always consumed Indonesian music since our childhood and many of our music also influenced from them. In terms of Music Industries no south east asian country can challenged them because they are too vast and too fast. Philippines might have the most raw vocal talent but in terms of music productions, musical composition, and the industries as a whole Indonesians is on top. They got a very good foundation and started early because of the Dutch Colonial who also love music and spread the western and modern style music to the locals very early on.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuYZ7spntac&amp;t=371">6:11</a> Since the beginning, Indonesia has been relatively connected to global cultural flows through informal channels—international radio, cassette distribution (both legal and illegal), ports, diaspora networks, and a pervasive cover band culture—enabling local musicians to rapidly absorb, replicate, and adapt global rock trends. Under the New Order, rock music was never systemically banned, yet it remained under a form of cultural control that drove social criticism to be wrapped in symbolic and metaphorical language. As a result, from God Bless in the 1970s to the underground bands of the 1990s, Indonesia&apos;s rock ecosystem evolved in an adaptive and &quot;guerrilla&quot; fashion, moving almost in lockstep with global developments while continuously negotiating distinctive local boundaries.
