Just need to add… the tip Mike gave about potentially sharing a villa in Dubai to save on costs is very commonly used by even relatively well paid professionals in London and New York. And they too don’t often know who they’d be stuck with in the house share before committing. So it’s a very valid suggestion. In fact, villa sharers would probably get more for their money in Dubai (community pool - if not one in the villa-; community gyms; modern properties with more space etc etc). Great suggestion Mike! 👌

The 2 best areas right now are Dubai Creek Harbour and Dubai hills. Not much traffic locally and close to everything.

you don't have to go to restaurants or cafés you can bring your own food and drink to the waterline where they have rocks and you can sit or to the beach or to plazas or local places that have seating you don't have to spend any money at restaurants you can be very frugal and enjoy all the luxury
