If I committed a crime, I would hope to have a judge as interested, compassionate, empathetic as Judge Boyd! They should have her teaching judges!

As a mom, at 61 yo, I can not comprehend how anything on the face of this planet could be more important than a child. We all make mistakes but if you aren't ready to be a mother there's ways to prevent it.

Judge Boyd is very clear and fair. Everyone deserves a chance in life…some people don’t learn the first time it doesn’t mean that can’t change for the better. Hopefully probation and. Lasses will help them not to repeat the same mistakes.

I LOVE how Judge Boyd explains what can happen to an unborn baby when the mother drinks/uses drugs during pregnancy. When I was working as a Registered Nurse I cared for a few babies with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and it's the most heartbreaking disease - babies born with FAS have significantly lower IQs than healthy babies, their immune systems don't work properly, they have respiratory problems, the list goes on and on - and often the mothers don't care because they're too brain damaged to really understand what's happened.

You should make sure she knows that if her unhord child is born with drugs in its sstem and indergoes withdrawal/death because of withdrawal, she will be charged with murder of her child and should faced life w'o parole!!!<br><br>11

What I wouldn't do to see Judge Boyd's bag collection! Whether she's remote or in the actual courtroom, her bag is the first thing I look for! She has an amazing collection!!
