the Problem with SBMM is, when your good or average, you're NOT matched with Good Players, you're thrown in with Cheaters... that's the problem.. :face-red-droopy-eyes::face-purple-crying::text-green-game-over::eyes-purple-crying::cat-orange-whistling:

Griggs is certainly not a person that wants to rugpull people on the matchmaking, it's Activision pulling strings on it, even ex-IW dev confirmed on Twitter that Activision hired "data scientists" during development of Ghosts

SBMM is the single biggest issue with this game. It punishes the player for getting better and once they do get good, they're forced into meat grinder, hyper sweaty lobbies that are not fun at all. So yeah little Timmy has a good time when he plays but is diehard players that buy the game every year, are punished and thrown overboard to cater to the casuals. What's more frustrating is that THEY HAD IT RIGHT IN B07! The matchmaking in the first 5 seasons was great and the most fun I've had in years!

They really should just have matchmaking be based on ping. I swear every other game I play has “Latency Variation.” I just want smooth matches.

Can't agree more. Wanted to check out bo7 season update but only open playlists were 3 maps including Nuketown. I refuse to play classic "inspired" matchmaking both because I don't enjoy my sweaty/slow connection lobbies and I don't want to be a part of their data of players populating SBMM lobbies instead of open

SBMM in a "normal" playlist is utter stupidity. If we wanted that aspect of playing harder enemies as we get better, then we just play ranked. SBMM is basically just a rank that isnt showing, and changes more drastically.

The sbmm in the beta was insane lol, sbmm is so strict I went from a 3 kd to a 1.61 because my lobbies are insane always , don’t play for a few months because life happens and I get back on and immediately thrown into unemployment lobbies
