  The captains stubbornness to let go of the approach really set the mood for the rest of the flight. I think it’s really critical to be open minded and not zero in on what you think you know.

  Sadly, the Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) was destroyed in the crash and it took rescuers almost 5 hours to reach the crash site. A survivor went looking for help and stumbled upon a news crew looking for the crash site and initially didn&apos;t believe he was from the plane!

  It’s cool that they changed policy so that the pilots have to know how to land the plane before being certified to fly it.

  It’s wild to me how many of these incidents come from people not communicating, not speaking up and not following through until everyone is clear instead of relying on assumptions.

  Cannot tell you how many times I shouted &quot;WHAT&quot; during that final 10 minutes, I know aviation safety is written in blood but no ground proximity warning system that really got me, how many other accidents do you &quot;pull up&quot; before the crash and this was simply &quot;200&quot; - great work once again I think the way you cover these crashes is so insightful yet still respectful of those who were lose - unbelieveable people survived this one
