I’ve been in a desert season since April 2023. God sent me there to heal my soul. <br>Yesterday, two different lights in our home that didn’t work for months, started working. I heard God say I am going to start turning things back on that I turned off for a season. You’re ready. 😭 ❤️ I’ve learned so many beautiful sacred things in this season. I am so grateful.

The revelations you bring out in each other are incredible blessings! The dry season is meant for something to die but not me! Been there done that. Amen.

I’ve been through it this year. Since June. I didn’t see it coming. But it hit like a freight train. My mental health made me have to leave my good paying job… in this crazy job economy. A month later my husband breaks his ankle and can’t do much and we’re living on a prayer each day. This seasons been awful. Yet I see God. He’s moving. I did have to leave behind the mindset that it’s punishment of sin, God is upset with me, or whatever else my mind wanted to come up with. No. Gods good, always. This is life and we are so broken. It made me realize how badly I need Him.

About a year and a half ago at church the song Goodness of God was being sung, and the words could not come out of my mouth. My heart was so full of anger towards God. I couldn’t say the words “you’ve been good to me all my life.” Even though I love God with everything, he was breaking me open in an area I had not resolved with him. A trusted friend asked me if I was willing to go back to the first time I remember not being able to trust God. I went back to a very difficult memory from when I was 10 years old being abused sexually. She asked me to ask Jesus where he was. I instantly got angry and looked at her and said “why would I ask him that, I don’t want to know that he was there and did nothing.” She asked if I would just trust him to be faithful to show me where he was. After several minutes of sobbing, I asked Jesus where he was. And what he revealed to me, changed my life forever. He stood in the doorway of this very dark musty shed with his hands over his face, sobbing. I could see the piercings in his hands, and I could feel the pain he was feeling for me. I can’t describe that moment entirely in words, and I still reflect back on it. I highly recommend sitting with Jesus and asking him where he was in your darkest hours when you felt like he had abandoned you. He will show you exactly where he was and you will know that he never left your side. Praise God!🙏🏻💛

I just love it when you both get together because the spirit just moves exponentially through the conversation. Thank you for doing this podcast. Especially discussing identity. God has been working on me with reflection, assessment, and &nbsp;processing in real time. It&apos;s always been a struggle. I always want to remember what God has done for me, and where he took me out of.

I love how Tim shares the Biblical emphasis to REMEMBER. I’d say in some cases, we even have to RE-Remember, meaning we recall how things were+what God did AND broaden our perspective of that specific dry season. In therapy we call it reframing but I like RE-Remember better.
