  Fun story. I was at Jim Olsen's, he was building a guitar for me (he makes about 20 a year and I got the blessing of experiencing that!) While at his shop, John Mayer texted Jim and basically begged him to build a guitar for him. Jim showed me and said, "I love this." He texted back, "How do i know this is really John Mayer?" 5 minutes later another text came in... it was a video of John in a hallway saying, "It's really me!" My Olsen is stunningly amazing. And Jim is a great human. I love this musical world we live in. Thank you for putting all your talent on YouTube for us all to learn from.

  John Mayer studied at Berklee college of music with Pat Pattison. So did the kids in Lake Street Dive and a bunch of other very talented songwriters

  Well what I would add is I am not a huge John Mayer fan - I’m not yet he has helped me a lot as a musician. <br><br>Your body is a wonderland is a nice song. <br><br>I don’t hate, he’s pretty good at blues too. <br><br>I appreciate him<br>Sharing knowledge though.
