20 Forgotten Sunnah Practices That Close Your Day in Shifa

📖 The Sunnah Home Manual is here — forty daily practices of the Beloved (peace be upon him), every hadith verified, every source shown. → GET YOUR COPY: https://sunnahgardens.com We think carefully about how we begin our day. We rarely think about how we close it. Yet the Prophet, peace be upon him, gave his companions an entire way of ending the day — a quiet protocol from sunset to sleep that settled the home, guarded the family, and laid the body down in peace. Most of it has been forgotten. All of it is still ours. In this video, we walk through twenty forgotten Sunnah practices that close your day in shifa — every one of them drawn from the Sahih hadith of Bukhari and Muslim: how the Prophet, peace be upon him, secured the home at night, what he recited before sleep, how he lay down, and the words he left on his lips as his eyes closed. Stay until the end: the number one is a dhikr the Prophet, peace be upon him, taught his own beloved daughter — when she asked him for a servant to ease her hands, he gave her this instead, and told her it was better for her than what she had asked for. This is not a manual. It is an invitation to remember — each practice traced to its place in the Sunnah, and to the still hour between the last prayer and sleep where the Prophet, peace be upon him, placed it. 🌙 IN THIS VIDEO — 20 SUNNAH PRACTICES TO CLOSE YOUR DAY: 20 — Closing the doors at night 19 — Covering the food and water vessels 18 — Extinguishing open flames before sleep 17 — Praying Isha before sleep, not after 16 — The light Sunnah dinner 15 — Washing the hands before sleep 14 — Dusting the bed three times 13 — Sleeping in a state of purity (wudu before bed) 12 — A cup of warm milk before sleep 11 — Reciting Surah Al-Mulk 10 — The last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah 9 — Ayat al-Kursi before sleep 8 — The Three Quls and wiping over the body 7 — The bedtime supplication: Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya 6 — The du'a upon turning in sleep 5 — Beginning every door with Bismillah 4 — Soft speech in the evening 3 — Sleeping on the right side, right hand under the cheek 2 — The full sleep supplication of Al-Bara' 1 — The dhikr he gave his own daughter in place of a servant: revealed at the very end 🤲 Sit with us, take your time, and let the close of your day become a Sunnah again.
