  TBH, most of our parents didn’t plan to have us. It was just irresponsible sex, that lead to kid(s). Our community needs sexual discipline, financial literacy &amp; literacy in general. A lot of us are born into brokenness. We have to come out the womb swinging to be successful in life.

  The word were all looking for is &quot;low-effort parenting&quot;. All they did was what the law required and nothing more...no hugs, no guidance, no advice, no teachings, no financial literacy, no sex education, no racism preparation, just be alive and leave me alone until your 18...then at 18 you talk to us like shit until we have to leave just to have some self respect for ourselves...us Millennials have some of the worst parents ever...no intrinsic value just empty emotionless shells that are always right and never apologize...

  I agree with you but black folks having so many children without the means to take care of them just to live off of welfare or struggle in poverty to then throw their kids to the world to perpetuate the same system of ignorance and poverty is a cycle that needs to be broken asap!!

  It’s not avoiding responsibility or wanting to live for free. The real point is they demand money and you’re also treated awfully. Very inhumane-like.

  The thing with the black community is they expect kids to help with the finances as soon as kids start working little summer jobs or even jobs while in college or right after college. We get zero time to even build for ourselves. I literally always had older family members preying on me and trying to get in my pockets or help them supplement their lives, but you don’t even realize it’s predatory until you’re deep involved, because they have a so story and you think they’re you’re “family”.
