My friend had a silver DB5 in excellent condition in the 1970s, dreadful thing. I knew two partners with their own successful company who bought themselves a new DB6 each, one in Daytona yellow, the other in Le Mans green. They spent more time at Newport Pagnell than they got to drive them, after a year they bought themselves a new Rolls Royce Silver Shadow each. Buy a car for its performance, but also for its quality, reliability and robustness - its a bonus if it also happens to look good.

The problem with Aston Martin is that the price level of their cars is way out of reach and cannot be justified.

AM is producing the best cars ever at the moment. I had a 2014 Vanquish and will not be happy until another one of the newer autos sits in my garage. Maybe a new Vantage S or DB12 :)
