  When I was 17, bought my gf a 500 dollar diamond heart necklaces. Hardcore saved up for &nbsp;her. <br>She took it, cried and thanked me because she didn&apos;t think she was worth something so nice. She had only dated guys in the past that treated her to maybe a fast food dinner, if they remembered at all. <br>She took it. Kept it for a long time after. But she ghosted me later that day. She was going behind my back and having sex with my best friend that introduced me to her for the purpose of dating her.<br>Took me while to learn not to realize expensive gifts = getting ghosted.
