  Because of Martin’s petty revenge, Simon was publically outed, without his consent, to everyone he knew and was left alone to deal with the reactions of his peers and family. His friends, who had minor problems to solve compared to Simon’s, could not care less about their so-called friend. Simon’s friends are so selfish!

  I can confirm as a gay man, yes absolutely, we used to get hung up on every single remotely attractive guy who smiled or acted nice to us lol… Is it pathetic? Absolutely, but it be like that.

  This isn&apos;t a sad gay movie. It&apos;s a wholesome gay movie. A little drama but pretty much a happy movie.

  This movie is cute and fine but you will never be able to convince me the friends/movie had any right tryna say Simon was the bad guy. I hate Simon having to apologize in the end and really don’t feel like there was enough sympathy from the friends or them being upset with Martin. I have the same feelings as Edge of Seventeen.

  I&apos;ve never considered Love, Simon a sad movie. It has sad moments but its an uplifting movie for queer teen. Very cute movie.

  Simons friends really pissed me off. Yeah, what he did was a little messed up but he was literally being blackmailed and threatened to be outed...they could&apos;ve been a little more understanding.
