  Nikke has literally hundreds of songs, and it covers so many genres of music. EDM, Jazz, Rock, Techno, Orchestral, Kpop, etc. The song you mentioned (Be My Star) is a Kpop song and even has a full stage performance version with amazing choreography. Nikke also does a full orchestral concert of their most famous songs live every year.<br><br>Please do react to more songs. There&apos;s a whole library of excellent tracks. Some include: &nbsp;TuNGSTeN, Hurricanes, Sing for the Queen , <br>ENTER HEAVEN , TRUE FIREPOWER, Camellia, Satellites, We&apos;re Never Giving Up <br><br>I love watching people reacting to Nikke music.   Alot of the songs have a character or theme (while its not literally theme) at its center and the character is usually pretty obvious from the video.<br><br>In this case this was released for an event surrounding the girl in the middle, Dorothy. While not entirely based on her, it does help give an insight on some of her belief and motives.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br>No matter how she feels, she&apos;s still Dorothy.

  The Phrase of this song is a leitmotif that gets used in a few other songs in Nikke since it is basically about the characters in the picture you see. A very recent example over 3 years later compared to its original is &quot;At Last: Faith of GODDESS&quot; if you want to give it a listen. In general Nikke uses leitmotifs very well in my opinion to tell the story together with it&apos;s music.

  Well, if you&apos;re interested in knowing what&apos;s going on...<br><br>Nikke takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. Terrifying machines known as &quot;Raptures&quot; have come to destroy humanity and in order to fight them, humanity created Nikkes: a form of super-soldiers. Imagine terminator with a human brain enhanced with nanomachines. Stronger, faster, more durable, capable of downloading information directly into their brain, not feeling pain, using weapons that would shatter the bones of a normal human from the recoil alone, barely needing to drink or sleep and functionally inmortal unless their brain is destroyed. Our own Goddesses of Victory. Despite this, they lost against the alien technology and unending numbers of the Raptures. What remains of humanity survives hidding in the ARK, a massive underground structure home to millions of people.<br><br>The game starts 100 and something years after humanity was forced to retreat underground. Humanity has tried to reclaim the surface twice and failed. The Central Government blames the Nikkes for their failiure and those who were hailed as heroes during the war are now second-class citizens. Despite this humanity has thrived in the ARK, developing their own society and culture. Much of humanity has never seen the surface or has given up entirely in their dreams of returning there, now a wasteland swarming with Raptures. <br><br>This song in particular comes from the event &quot;Overzone&quot;. The story narrates the events of 100 years ago, where we follow the members of the Goddess squad (the first and most elite squad of Nikkes ever created) in their operation to seal the ARK from the outside world. Since the Goddess squad is no longer around by the time the game starts, you can imagine that it&apos;s not a happy story. This song is a war hymn, an athem that sounds when the Goddess goes out to meet the Raptures in battle, our last hope and their last stand.

  For some context on this one, without getting into too many spoilers, this song is actually the regular battle soundtrack for the half-anniversary event OVER ZONE. This event follows the … Goddess Squad, led by Dorothy, who believe themselves to be Goddesses of Victory. Thus this would be a fairly fitting soundtrack for their battles! Perhaps this is a good place to start! Work your way through the OVER ZONE OST, I promise you’ll get a very, very good sensing of what this game is about…

  This song is the battle theme for Nikke&apos;s very first half-anniversary event called &apos;Overzone&apos;, which retells the story of a pivotal moment in the war against the major antagonist faction of Nikke called the Raptures. The Raptures are robot-like enemies that move/act in a sort of hivemind under the control of a Queen. Know the meme about Nikke where we &quot;came for the plot, and stayed for the plot&quot;? Overzone was the moment many players (myself included) knew we were gonna stay. <br><br>Since others are recommending the more serious tracks, I&apos;ll recommend &quot;I FEEL SO ALIVE&quot; which is Nikke&apos;s first cash shop theme. On the same vein, I&apos;ll also recommend &quot;A.C.P.U.! FREEZE!&quot; and &quot;Perfect Maid : You&apos;ve always got me&quot;.

  There&apos;s over 800 music tracks in Nikke; it&apos;s a treasure trove to dive into. Highly recommend: &quot;Sing For the Queen&quot;, &quot;The Redhood&quot;, &quot;Hold You Tight&quot;, &quot;Afterglow&quot;, &quot;Daybreak&quot;, or &quot;Shattered&quot;... Many different styles, all of them very enjoyable outside the game, while fitting perfectly within the game.<br>Thanks for the reaction! Looking forward to more!
