  the torque wrench setting for the exhaust pipe studs are 21 to 29 NM according to official manual . if you need anything more , please do not hesitate

  Your local hardware store or tool dealer will more than likely have a bolt extractor, a very common tool as broken bolts are a common phenomenon. It's like a thread tap, but with a reverse, coarse thread. Using your hand held power drill, you fit the provided drill bit into the power drill and make a hole on the top of the broken bolt, fit the extractor bit in the hole, and using a small wrench and turning it counter clockwise, you can unscrew the broken bolt. It would be wise to use a prick punch on the top of the broken bolt to center the drill bit first.

  This was a helpful video. Im preparing to do this job  it was good to see the fine details. Like you kind of thinking over the finish/high quality of the replacement, given it is covered by the heat shield when finishing the job. Thanks.

  I put a Black Widow decat pipe on my Meteor 350. Never had this issue. They don't send bolts, you use the originals.

  Great video and all the camera work was excellent. I had the exact same bolt snap off on my Classic 500, I just left it and it hasn't caused a problem. I will get around to drilling it out eventually. By the way I think your bike sounds much nicer after the decat.

  I put my decat pipe in the vice to bend the bracket so it actually fits, it really needed a spacer so the exhaust is not held under stress as it’s forced into place making the silencer out of true.  Still it’s no big hassle.
