  At this rate, Andrew Benintendi will have a far better Red Sox tenure than Roman Anthony. The only thing he, Kristian Campbell and Marcelo Mayer have proved at the major league level is that the team seems allergic to developing impactful offensive players who can stay on the field. Oh...side note...the team not only is trash at developing impactful bats, they cheap out on Free Agents. The narrative most of the year has been Pete Alonso or Wilson Contreras. The red sox could have gotten both. Theres no reason they couldn&apos;t have had both bats in lineup. But thank goodness they didnt do that Ketel Marte trade because Jones&apos; guy Marcelo Mayer needed to wiff at every curveball for a few months before being traded for a reliever. This team makes it SO hard to root for them because Tolle is amazing, Grey has been outstanding, but if management actually put an offense on the field representative of the resources available to them, they&apos;d probably be the #1 seed in playoffs because the AL is caca and their pitching is outstanding. Booooooo!!!! Roman Anthony, &nbsp;booooooo!!!

  I don&apos;t understand this. If you are afraid of someone in the lineup... give him the intentional base. That&apos;s it! They did it with Barry Bonds and it worked.

  Maybe if he didn&apos;t punch Marcelo Mayer over a girl, we could rely on this kid. <br>It&apos;s absolutely wild how many fans don&apos;t believe this is how he broke his hand, and how all social media photos of that bromance suddenly disappeared right afterwards. Anyone with social connections to the Red Sox has reported this too. This kid ain&apos;t ready for the spotlight.
