*After watching the video, one of my Patreon Members let me know that this type of First + Business booking is still possible. I checked it out and it seems in some very limited circumstances, it can be found for around 115k Avios (from Bangkok to Eastern US). From my searching though, the catch is it is not a give in. I searched multiple cities 1 year out and none of them had this type of availability. A few dates just some months from now, it does appear.

Next July I'll be fly that route in the opposite direction - thanks for the preview. I got mine as part of redemption from Barcelona via Doha to Bangkok, the first leg in business, for 112.5k + $240, which I thought was pretty good value.

Still miffed with Qatar after my 9 hour flight from DPS to DOH last week in the B777 2-2-2 config… the contrast with their other business products is just way too big. However after watching this video, I’m already willing to forgive and look forward to our return flight in hopefully q-suite 😅 Thank you for the review 🙏🏼

Nice score on that upgrade!🎉🎉. The lack of privacy doors on a first class seat is a bit disappointing, but you were lucky enough to not have a next door neighbour 😅. Great video as always 😊

The benefit of BKK’s satellite concourse, airplane views! They are limited at the main hall, only certain gates toward the ends of each pier. Luckily my Scoot flight last year was parked there and I could get my first plane spotting session at the airport in 5 visits there. Also, I believe Qatar has retrofitted some A380s with the same economy seats as their A350s. I’ve been told it’s on 2 A380s.
