I'm here one year later to remind chat that Guardian's Heart is one-shot protection technically because damage dealt to the shield health can't spill over to your regular health, it's not that relevant on regular runs but it's giga-busted on Artifact of Glass runs

guardian heart also acts as a form of OSP (oneshot protection) any huge hit of damage even if lethal will only take your shield away first, and not touch any of your HP
