I think the evil roles without the killing abilities are hard since you have to push other people when there is no murderer/assassin left in a game

One problem I have with psychic is that you’ll be targeted if you say someone is evil (and the murderer is alive after) but I have a problem with players when I am spy. CAUSE I FIND OUT WHO THE MURDERER IS AND I GET VOTED OUT EVERYTIME- it happened like 3 times before. Also I have a story where I was playing flicker and I think Thiago (I think chidi actually) was the murderer (in anonymous mode) and he made a excuse that we were “racist” and that’s why we were voting him when someone had evidence…

Something that I like to do as ambusher is lie as spy. I've done it before and even though I got voted out in the end, I fooled loads of people into thinking I was really spy (until psychic came up and ratted me out)

Edit: wanna say something about the "hardly anyone fakes detective," I had a whole survivor fake detective once. How did I know they weren't actually detective? I WAS DETECTIVE AND AT THE END SCREEN IT SAID SURVIVOR. A SURVIVOR LEGIT FAKED MY ROLE BECAUSE THEY WERE BORED 😭

Ambusher, id say it isnt that hard for me. Whenever i get ambusher i can literally just lie and say im scout. (Scout, because if theres a real scout, i can help my team get away with it, and since im already voted out, people wont suspect for there to be another scout.) anyways, if muffin man speaks up first thing and people yell about wanting a muffin first, if the muffin man says __ is first to get a muffin, if the ambusher watches that person it can kill the muffin man, because they ambushed a good target

In my opinion, Witch is pretty much like finding out who has abilities or if who is a survivor

Ambusher is so hard for me and its kind of luck based if they wven use an ability on ur target (i once went a full game as ambusher and no ones used abilities on my target

personally, i really like having an ambusher while being a member of the evil team (especially as murderer) because if we both use the ability on the same person, i get to know who they are and they could possibly kill someone with an important role. this has saved me several times and it gives another way for evil team to find each other. (and this still applies for when the ambusher has no one to kill left, evil people can still see the message)

i think a good strategy for this might be if there’s an ambusher, try to go for people who are likely to get their abilities used on. (this could also help a scout find you) this is risky however because

1. two good people might use their ability on said person and if you defend the ambusher it places heavy suspicion on you (rare, but not impossible)

2. the ambusher isn’t paying attention or is inexperienced and gets defensive if you send them a note

3. the ambusher is gone

4. most people won’t likely consider this strategy, however i think in general ambushers try to go for people who might get abilities used on or

5. the person doesn’t get ambushed and a spy saw (be careful with spies)

also in all the games i’ve had an ambusher in, i found ambusher (via the (name) was waiting by your target in ambush! message) as evil 3 times and none as good.

i don’t have any other ambusher strategies to compare this to, (and i haven’t tested it, it’s mostly just an observation) but i think it might do better in higher level servers because of the reasoning from both ambusher and other evils that has to go into it.

this doesn’t necessarily mean ambusher is easier, but you said that they cant find their team and they just guess and die, which i disagree on and i just wanted to voice my thoughts.

(sorry if that was a lot😭)

3:23 I look at someone as spy and got the murder detected first try but people were dumb and weren't voting so he won

I feel like Ambusher is definitely easier to play since the Ambusher can basically ambush anyone they want without worrying about Spy, unlike the other evil roles, and there's only a few roles that can get them caught
