  Modern SpongeBob is beyond stupid a lot of times. Even classic SpongeBob would be able to pick up when Squidward is annoyed with him and would respect his space.

  Honestly, I feel like, while Classic would get really sick of Modern, I don't think he'd hate him. Last time I checked, Spongebob rarely hates. Period. He may get pissed, but he doesn't hate.

  Modern SpongeBob is like what classic SpongeBob was stereotyped to be. SpongeBob always had a child-like nature to him, yes, but now, it has gone up to 11.<br><br>Patrick suffered from this too. He went from being a bit dim, but still having some common sense, and actually being smarter than SpongeBob in certain areas, to being virtually brainless.

  Classic spongebob is a typical Young adult choosing optimism to deal with the struggles of the Adulthood life while Modern Spongebob is the living janky embodiment between &quot;being naive&quot; and &quot;being complete stupid&quot;.
