  I work on a gas station at night. The radio plays only classical in my shift and its amazing to see how many people react positive to this. After concerts many metalheads including the  bands drop by as well and they really enjoy it as well.

  My sister passed away and that evening I put my children down to sleep while listening to Satie. We’ve all listened to together every night since (January 2020). The music, as everyone else has stated— brings:  sadness, joy, hope, peace and contentment. The emotions are endless. It’s now almost 2025, and here we are again. Thank you for posting this!

  After so many years and so much music of all genres, tonight, I feel happy and at peace, because I have just discovered the song of my life and I am beyond grateful.

  I&apos;m trying to sleep now. Today, my dog was diagnosed with bone cancer. I am 18 years old and he is 15 years old and needs to amputate his paw and undergo chemotherapy. But at that age he can&apos;t take it ... So he&apos;ll probably be sacrificed. I&apos;m crying so much ... He was always my company. And now you&apos;re going to move on to another plane. This song calms me down a little and helps me in this sad moment. I hope you don&apos;t go through the same pain that I feel now. Animals are angels and should not suffer. <br><br>Edit: well, my dog passed way at april 19. He had been cured of anemia and widespread infection. However, when he was about to start cancer treatment, he died at home. His breathing was slowing, his heartbeat was getting weak. I tried to do cardiac massage, but it was inevitable. Now he is on another plane. And I miss you so much. It has been my company since I was a child. Rest in peace, my friend. I will aways love you.

  My youngest son, who passed away four years ago, loved this music. When I played it for him he would immediately say &quot; Look Mummy - I dancing&quot; It makes me cry every time I hear it to think of that lovely little boy.

  It’s amazing to think how many people around the world are listening to this right now. And the beautiful serene effect his music gives to all of us. Someone who left so long ago, having such a deep universal effect on so many… maybe many of us alone, many of us with our family, sad or happy, but many of us melted together in this beautiful piece. It’s amazing what a person can create that remains eternal and universal. God bless you all and blessed be his memory ❤

  Erik Satie&apos;s Gymnopedies always take me back to my childhood in the 1960s. They were very popular back then as background music in various locales, e.g., restaurants, piped music in department stores, etc. One heard them quite a lot in the &apos;60s. Beautiful and peaceful and melancholy.

  I play this song as I feed my 5 day old baby and it brings us so much peace. I think I’ll remember these moments for the rest of my life.
