On July 13, 2022, a Chrono Break occurred during the third set of the Hanwha Life Esports vs. T1 match. It was due to a bug involving Owner's Smite, but ironically, it was T1, who were leading by five kills, who suffered the loss from the rewind. We have compiled a list of the five times the LCK has rewinded a match in chronological order. These include the "0830 Incident," where players had to play on regular server accounts because the server crashed; the ping calculation error at MSI where three games won by RNG were completely erased; the double standard where the Gumayusi rune bug was allowed to continue while Owner's Smite bug was rewinded; the Nongshim-Damwon match, where the rewind itself failed and the ban/pick phase had to be restarted; and finally, the 2024 DDoS attack, where there wasn't even a point to rewind. All of these can be explained by a single rule: the "Record Game." If a match is restarted before crossing this line, the champion, runes, and spells remain intact, but if it is crossed, everything must be selected anew. This explains why the match continued even though Gumayusi requested a pause at 4 minutes and 09 seconds. The stun went awry at 2 minutes and 46 seconds in-game, and the pause occurred at 7 minutes and 26 seconds.
