  Gen X here, I am eternally grateful there was no internet when I was too young and too dumb to know how to use it. The only person who remembers most of my dumb stuff is me.

  I hate when people post their children's tantrums online. Like put your phone down and parent your child, this is an opportunity to teach them how to manage their emotions, and yet some parents use it as an opportunity to embarrass their child online smh

  We grew up being told “never talk to strangers”—now folks are out here telling strangers everything on the internet like it’s a therapy session. Oversharing with people who don’t care and just want the tea!

  Deleted all my social media (except this old YouTube account) and it’s so freeing! I’m not trying to be super mysterious, it’s just the right choice for me. However, I swear some people need to put their phone down when they have big emotions. Pretend you’re a celebrity who runs everything by a PR person before posting. 😂

  I work in Corrections and it drives me nuts when people show their babies and kids in social media videos.  The things that creeps and criminals will do with those videos is extremely disturbing

  There is a video on TikTok of a teacher giving a student a cap and gown because he couldn’t afford to buy them. That’s something she should have done without recording. Now this student is embarrassed because his whole graduating class knows he couldn’t afford his cap and gown; his parents are embarrassed because the whole community knows they couldn’t afford them; and his family is embarrassed because the whole neighborhood knows they couldn’t or wouldn’t buy them. Oh, and the whole Internet knows and knows his name because she called it out. Her actions were immature, irresponsible, and insensitive. To think, she is charged with setting an example for our youth. How starved for attention can a grown woman be???
