  The more I listen to Amy Grant's interviews and hear her stories, I think, "I want to be her friend". She is so incredible. So real and authentic. What a joy to listen to her.

  my aunt was a cloister nun. she passed before Amy's songs were on the charts. from what i was told. my aunt prayed all day. only meet her once. it was restricted to see her by the church. she would have liked Amy's music. i pray for the souls of the fatefully departed by the mercy of God. rest in peace

  In the eighth installment of "The Me That Remains" she notes her association with the Sister but does not drop her name.  Vince Gill has the talent through his songwriting abilities to express both joy and sorrow.  This is a song of joy and about the inner peace that he finds when she prays to God while in his presence    Their daughter Corrina has also performed it with him, using Mama in place of as only she can doi.

  After listening to this so many things come to mind. My life had been so difficult so many times through out my life. My biggest thing recently is care giver burn out with my 16 yr old severe special needs son. But that walk and struggle every day....  has me so close to God's grace and mercy......with my arms raised and my heart open. God bless

  I had the privilege of singing, Breath of Heaven in my Catholic Church several years in a row. It blesses me and my precious, second husband. I had no intentions of marrying again, unless God sent me the right man with a sense of humor and faith. And he didn't have to be my faith. I never dreamed I'd be a Catholic, but that's where I belong. We don't have to agree with everyone. We just have to love one another. Amy, I can't tell you how your story has confirmed that God called me out of my first marriage, which I don't regret because of my children, but he sent me a Vince who wishes he could sing that loves me, warts and all. I told my priest that I might have to say amen and lift my hand once in a while and he said that would be terrific! This has been a terrific and BLESSED interview thank you.

  O my gosh Amy.. I always say that same thing to people when I tell them I grew up in a Baptist church. We went to Church.. Sunday morning Sunday night, We’d night and anything in between. I’m grateful for it !
