My wife had her very first meeting with her mentors at the University of Oxford, and one interjected that she should read anything and everything. Whether it is related or not to her Doctoral studies does not matter, as long as she reads. My wife ended up reading so much English books that we now have a library that she now challenges me with my reading habits, even though English is her second language. Read all ... and enjoy one of the most pleasureable pursuits in humankind.

Lincoln’s lifelong habits of voracious reading, writing, repetition, and narrative framing served as the pillars of his extraordinary leadership

I am blessed. My parents grew up with kerosene lamps at home. Reading and storytelling was their "window to the world" for years. They read to us every night. Our brains were well wrinkled from the start. 👍🏻😀
