  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHMzaqJBVYg&amp;t=813">13:33</a> &nbsp;You actually kind of have to admire how Sonic is perfectly happy with the idea of running from a foe (even when it&apos;s his biggest rival), not because he&apos;s afraid or doesn&apos;t think he can handle it, but because he&apos;s a chill guy who prefers to avoid conflict whenever possible. It also shows that Sonic doesn&apos;t care what others think of him or if he earns the disapproval of others for not conforming to their notions about honor.

  Honestly, I enjoyed this game for the story. It&apos;s an interesting twist to the original story, and the voice actors did an amazing job its ridiculous. Jason Griffith is such a good sonic.

  I&apos;m 30 and those final cutscenes where Sonic is confronting Merlina still make me cry. Truly the last time Sonic felt like himself

  For a game primarily targeting a children audience, I think the theming of this story is quite mature. Even though the theme of life, death, and existentialism is very light, I can appreciate that the earlier Sonic storylines were willing to at least touch on subjects like this.

  It’s been over a decade since this game came out and it is still the last good sonic story. If only Sega grew the courage to make games with their heart, meaning and take risks again...
