I’m a cyclocross Commissaire, for me the best thing is anyone can turn up. Last season in one race we literally had a lady who got her bike out of a skip the month before and Cat Fergerson from Movistar in the same race.

Great video….now take a CX bike to a gravel event. I would have liked to have see the gravel bike with 33mm tires

Not only was this beautifully shot on and off the bikes, but the visual storytelling was excellent - the editors told us the story of the competition really well all the way through - who was winning, how the bikes impacted the race, and this made it even more fun to watch!

I have raced nearly every cycling discipline and distance short of downhill and track, and cross is probably the most difficult. There is zero place to hide or recover, it’s basically an hour FTP+ test and hurts more than anything (if you are doing it right). Watching this gave me the urge to go out and try it again, albeit on my gravel bike. But at age 50, pushing the limits on handling is not really in the cards anymore. This video was beautifully shot and edited!!! IronCross here in the US - modeled off of 3 Peaks - back in the day when Americans could not spell either Cross or Gravel, had a death spiral like the one here, cool to see it again!

I LOVE when the crew does cyclocross content!!! This was such a great video! Super fun to see Si and Alex slug it out.<br><br>In the US, most cross is raced on gravel bikes these days, because there are so few new cross bikes for sale here. Everything is gravel.<br><br>Please keep the cross content coming! 🤓
